Dangerous Goods

HFI Distribution is authorised to transport all classes of Dangerous Goods (DG), with the exception of Radio Active (RADAC) materials (class 7) and explosive materials (class 1) where 'limited quantities' apply. Consignments we are able to handle range from corrosive substances and articles to flammable gases (such as butane, propane and acetylene).

All our vehicles are fully equipped to transport DG consignments and HFI's team of Dangerous Goods specialists are fully conversant with the rules of ADR (Road), IATA (Air) and IMDG (Maritime) regulations. We ensure that the delivery of hazardous consignments is completed in full accordance with all appropriate international regulations for the transport of Dangerous Goods by land.

Our drivers are ADR trained, which means that HFI Distribution meets the demands for ADR compliance, enabling us to carry hazardous goods by road. Relevant ADR training also means that our driving crews understand the legislation, have the required knowledge to operate safely and understand the need for ongoing training. In accordance with the amendment to legislation brought in on 1 January 2007, all HFI drivers hold an ADR training certificate.

HFI Distribution has the capabilities and resources to overcome any obstacle in the process of transporting cargo to its destination
